Sairé em Alter do Chão

Nem a chuva que caiu na manhã desta quinta-feira (09) em Alter do Chão, ofuscou o brilho do primeiro dia da festa do Sairé. O ritual de busca dos mastros do Juiz e da Juíza, conduzidos em procissão pelo grupo Espanta Cão até a praça do Sairé e por populares e personagens tradicionais da festa, como a Sairapora, deu início à programação.

 O hasteamento das bandeiras Nacional, do Estado do Pará e do município de Santarém fez parte do ato solene de abertura. A disputa no levantamento dos mastros, vencida pelas mulheres (juízas), deu um ar de descontração ao evento.

 Ao pronunciar-se, a prefeita de Santarém saudou os visitantes e declarou que este não será o Sairé dos sonhos, mas o Sairé possível. “Estou muito confiante de que teremos uma festa simples, bem organizada. Estamos trabalhando no bom acolhimento dos visitantes - com receptivo no aeroporto, na decoração deste local e na inovação ao evento, através de investimentos governamentais. Para este ano, estamos oferecendo uma praça de alimentação, como alternativa gastronômica ao público; o Maleiro de Alter, para que os usuários possam guardar seus pertences; o Centro de Saúde 24 Horas; ruas asfaltadas; passeios de ‘trenzinho’ e de barco; atividades esportivas e culturais o dia inteiro; enfim, inúmeras novidades que vão fazer desta, uma festa muito melhor”, afirmou a prefeita.  Ao lado do Barracão do Sairé, os cantores Chico Malta, Beto Paixão e Maria Lídia embalavam o público com músicas de Santarém e região. No encerramento da programação, houve um farto café da manhã oferecido pela prefeitura de Santarém, através da secretaria municipal de Cultura (SMC) e comunidade, aos presentes.

 Hoje à noite, a partir das 19h, as atividades serão retomadas com o Rito Religioso e shows culturais na praça do Sairé; danças no Lago dos Botos a partir de 21h; a apresentação dos regionais Tucuxi e Cor de Rosa às 23h; e o show Rabo de Vaca à meia noite.  ( Informações da PMS)
